Meet Susan Mulen Shemper, DNP, FNP-C - Hattiesburg, MS

Susan Mullen Shemper, DNP has over 20 years of surgical nurse experience with specializations in neurosurgery, orthopedic, and trauma surgery. She earned her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from The University of Southern Mississippi and holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from William Carey University. She is a member of the Mississippi Nurses’ Association (MNA), the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), and the Mississippi Association of Nurse Practitioners (MANP). Susan and her husband, Jacob, are the parents of three children, Bailey, Oliver, and Esther. The family loves animals, so, if you visit them, you can meet two pups – Honey and Walter – an aquarium of fish, a snake, and a turtle. When she can find some free time in her busy schedule, Susan loves to play tennis and even holds several state tennis championship titles.
